I had three days left for my two week trip to London but as my flight was leaving early in the morning I chose this hotel which is a two minute walk from Gatwick North Terminal. This is definitely an airport hotel within walking distance other than the airport. However, it is very convenient to walk to the train station and then drive half an hour to Victoria Station. Or, as I chose to do the next day, take the half-hour train to various places on or near the south coast, such as Brighton.

Advantage:The rooms are clean and tidy, the restaurant has a good selection of food and the bar specials are great. Near the terminal. Always a good price. The best part about this time was that we took a shower!

Lack:The elevators are annoying -- especially since the hotel is full

Advantage:Always good value, functional and spotlessly clean. Good choice for dinner, breakfast and bar. Pleasant and efficient service.

Advantage:The bed, shower and room size were all very good. We had a larger than average room, which was very nice. Always trust Premier Inns

Advantage:Great staff made it easy for everyone to check in. Super clean hotel and room. Deep bath, ideal for a real bath. Tea service but no fridge in room.

Lack:No fridge in the room, poor selection of TV channels. Room service should be available. I need a gym

Advantage:I like the location of the North Terminal. It's very easy to get to using the airport's free train shuttle between terminals. I think the price of the room is very reasonable for an airport hotel. The cafe/bar and restaurant are reasonably priced, accept credit card payments (so I didn't have to change money for a short stay) and the food was good (especially the restaurant). Free WiFi is available. The room and bathroom were very clean and hot drinks were available.

Lack:The £10 early check in fee was an unexpected extra when I wanted to store my luggage (without having access to my room) and travel to London. The free wifi seems to have to reconnect every time (I finally figured it out) and sometimes drops in the middle of the session. I had a hard time finding a "shuttle" from the South Terminal to the North Terminal as I was looking for a bus shuttle rather than a train shuttle. There are two premium hotels in Gatwick, not sure where I booked them from.

Advantage:The itinerary is to fly to Gatwick in the evening and depart from Heathrow the next day. I chose this hotel for its ideal location. On arrival, the hotel is a short walk from Gatwick North Terminal. Check in was quick and the staff was attentive. The restaurant in the hotel has a rich selection of dishes and the breakfast is also very rich. An overnight stay is a good option.

Advantage:This large hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Gatwick Airport's North Terminal. After checking in online, I simply received my receipt and keys from a machine in reception and was immediately taken to a very clean, comfortable room. We pre-purchased a meal (two course, drinks and breakfast) for less than £25 per person. Above all, great value for money. When we arrived around 5pm the bar and restaurant were very busy. 6pm but surprisingly quick service with lots of friendly polite staff. Dinner was delicious and served at just the right speed. Breakfast is an extensive, fresh buffet, but poached eggs and other dishes can also be ordered from the kitchen. A beautiful day begins.
